The Funding Requirement
The Board of Trustees are seeking to raise £1,000,000 from individuals, corporations & foundations.
To date we have raised nearly £250,000. You can help by donating. To do so please complete the donation form.
We urgently need your help to raise funds to:-
• Conserve the priceless documents in Deir al Surian’s custody.
• Catalogue and digitise the collection.
• Equip a new "state of the art" library and conservation studio to house these works and accommodate scholars and conservators.
• Provide training and technical support for local museum professionals in preservation, conservation and museology.

Sponsorship is welcomed for specific items such as those listed below and appropriate acknowledgement will be made:-
• Conservation Field Campaign of 3 weeks with 4-5 western conservators - £11,000
• Travel expenses for one conservator - £500
• Conservation of a complete Manuscript - £1,000 - £20,000
• Conservation, provision of archival storage & digitising of fragmentary MS of up to:
50 fragments from as little as £200
100 fragments £400 etc
• Conservation leather, Japanese tissues and paper for a campaign - £200
• Computer and software for digitising and archiving - £2,500
